Check the choice of pulleys according to the following instructions:
- Find out the maximum rpm for the engine (Max).
- Find out the engine's rpm when traveling at maximum, continuous
velocity (Max
cont
).
- Divide the diameter of the large pulley (D
lp
) with the diameter of the
small pulley (dsp). Multiply the result with the maximum rpm for the
engine (Max
rpm
). This result must not exceed 18 000 rpm. If it is larger a
smaller pulley should be chosen for the crankshaft.

Divide the diameter of the large pulley (D
lp
) with the diameter of the
small pulley (d
sp
). Multiply the result with the engine's idling rpm (I
dl
).
This result should be close to 3000 rpm to enable Travel Power to
deliver 1000 W when the engine is idling.

If the results of the above computations are not acceptable, pulleys with
different diameters must be selected.
